6 Day Marangu Route

6 Day Marangu Route – Kilimanjaro Climb Package

The 6 day Marangu Route is a popular choice for those who want a more comfortable Kilimanjaro trek with an added day for acclimatization. Known as the "Coca-Cola Route," it is the only route with hut accommodations rather than tents. The 6-day option increases your chances of reaching the summit compared to the shorter 5-day trek, making it ideal for first-time climbers who want a better chance at success while still enjoying comfort.

This route follows a gradual ascent and uses the same trail for the descent. You'll pass through varied landscapes, including lush rainforest, open moorlands, alpine desert, and eventually the snow-covered summit. With an extra day spent at Horombo Hut for acclimatization, the 6-day Marangu Route offers a balanced, scenic, and structured climb.
