Welcome to KilimanjaroPackages.com. By booking with us, you’re not just signing up for a trip you’re joining an adventure of a lifetime. These Terms & Conditions are here to ensure clarity between you (the traveler) and us (the service provider). Please take a few minutes to read them carefully. By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms below.

Who We Are:

KilimanjaroPackages.com is a local Tanzanian company specializing in Kilimanjaro climbs, safaris, and tailored adventures across Tanzania. All our guides, porters, and support teams are licensed, trained professionals who put your safety and experience first.

Booking & Payments:

To make sure your adventure is secured:
  • Deposit: A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your climb, safari, or tour.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 30 days before your trip starts.
  • Late Bookings: If you book less than 30 days before departure, full payment is required immediately.
  • Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers, credit cards, and secure online payment options. Any transfer fees are the client’s responsibility.
  • Your booking is only confirmed once we receive your deposit.

    Refund and Cancellation:

    We understand that life can be unpredictable. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while covering costs already incurred:
  • 60+ days before departure: Full refund minus administrative/bank fees.
  • 30–59 days before departure: 50% refund.
  • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund (but rescheduling may be offered if possible).
  • No-shows: Unfortunately, non-refundable.
  • Certain third-party costs (flights, permits, etc.) may be non-refundable depending on provider policies.

    Travel Insurance (Required)

    Every traveler must have comprehensive travel insurance that covers:
  • Medical emergencies
  • Trip cancellations
  • Lost luggage
  • Evacuation (including helicopter evacuation for Kilimanjaro climbs)
  • You’ll need to share your insurance details before the start of the trip.

    Health, Safety & Fitness:

    Climbing Kilimanjaro and going on safari requires a certain level of fitness. By booking with us, you confirm that: You are in good physical condition and free from serious medical conditions. You’ll follow the guides’ safety instructions at all times. You have consulted a doctor regarding vaccinations, altitude sickness, and fitness readiness. We reserve the right to refuse participation if your health or behavior risks your safety or that of the group.

    Risks & Responsibilities:

    Adventure travel involves risks beyond our control, including: Weather changes, Wildlife encounters, Political or natural events, Flight or transport delays. While we take every precaution to keep you safe, you acknowledge that these risks exist and accept responsibility for your participation.

    Changes to Itinerary:

    Sometimes, Mother Nature or unforeseen circumstances require adjustments. We may: Alter routes, camps, or accommodations for safety reasons. Substitute services of equal or higher standard when necessary. We always aim to provide the best possible experience without compromising safety.

    Our Responsibility:

    We commit to: Providing licensed, professional guides and safe, well-maintained equipment. Honoring the itinerary to the best of our ability. Supporting local communities by employing local staff and contributing directly to their welfare.

    Your Responsibility:

    As our valued guest, you agree to: Respect local culture, wildlife, and the environment. Follow park regulations and guide instructions. Ensure your travel documents (passport, visas, vaccinations) are valid. Treat staff and fellow travelers with courtesy.

    Liability Disclaimer:

    KilimanjaroPackages.com, its staff, and partners are not liable for: Injuries, losses, or damages beyond our control. Additional expenses due to delays, cancellations, or force majeure events. Lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

    Complaints & Feedback:

    We take feedback seriously. If something isn’t right, please let your guide or tour manager know immediately so we can resolve it. Post-trip, we’d love to hear your thoughts—it helps us improve and keeps our standards high.

    Governing Law:

    These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be settled under Tanzanian jurisdiction.

    Final Word:

    By booking with KilimanjaroPackages.com, you’re trusting us with your adventure. We don’t take that lightly. Our goal is to give you an unforgettable experience while keeping you safe and supported every step of the way.
