Horombo Hut at 3,720m is the second hut camp on the Marangu Route and sits in the moorland zone with stunning views of both Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. On a 5-day itinerary, climbers spend two nights here for acclimatization. The huts are larger and more comfortable than Mandara.
